Homosexuality I

I have requested a divine session with God to seek His advice on Homosexuality and God willing, the session will be grant ASAP.

Meanwhile, I suggest lets have chat on the topics first so that I could be better prepared for the divine session.

Human sexuality researchers, professional organizations and liberal religious groups appear to have reached the consensus that:
  1. heterosexuality, bisexuality and homosexuality are normal, natural variations of sexual orientation, found throughout all societies and cultures
  2. sexual orientation is determined before a child reaches school age
  3. sexual orientation for many (perhaps most) is genetically predetermined at conception
  4. sexual orientation in adults is unchangeable
  5. a continuum exists between homosexual and heterosexual orientation; a minority of people have a bisexual orientation
  6. through effort, prayer and counseling, an adult's behavior can be changed:
  • the possibility of leading a celibate life is open to all
  • bisexuals can lead celibate lives or can decide to confine their
  • sexual interaction with same sex or opposite sex people
Human beings are either androgynous or another sex, which is called “Hermaphrodite” in biological term. And this is divided into three groups: True, Male Pseudo and Female Pseudo. However, likewise all are genuine.

According to the existing holy books , God created only male and female. If so, how do we justify the existence of Hermaphrodite? I gotta ask God about this one ...

True Hermaphrodites: A person born with both ovary and testicular tissue, this could be 2 separate gonads ( one of each) or a combination of both in one (an ovotestes). The genitalia can vary from completely male or female, to a combination of both or even ambiguous looking. The chromosome (karotype) compliment can be XX (female), XY (male), XX/XY (mosiac) or even XO (extremely rare). Those XX with female genitalia are raised female ( some have even given birth). Those XY with male genitalia are raised male ( a few have fathered children). The children born XX/XY or XO (with genitalia male or female are raised in the sex they look most like). Those born with ambiguous genitalia have many medical tests for the doctors to determine which sex they should be assigned. Doctors then recommend early surgery to make the child look physically like the sex assigned to them.

FEMALE PSEUDO: Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH) it occurs approximately 1:14,000 births. This is when the adrenal glands overproduce testosterone. It also has been recorded that some persons with this disorder had been exposed to progesterone-like drugs before they were born. When sex has been set, exposure to unusual levels of testosterone when in fact you are female - can cause development of the male characteristics.. the clitoris may become a penis... the structures are remarkably similar in function.. the clitoris is actually larger in nerve innervations than the penis..

MALE PSEUDO: A person born XY with testes (usually in the abdominal cavity). The external genitalia are usually female but can be ambiguous. The most common cause is Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (AIS). This is when the body doesn't respond to the androgen being produced. There are different variations: Complete (CAIS) , and Partial (PAIS). This condition has a variety of names and occurrence rates.

Many conservative Christian churches have reached a different consensus, that:

  • homosexual behavior is evil, sick, disordered and abnormal
  • only heterosexual behavior is ordained by God; homosexual and bisexual behavior are sins
  • sexual orientation is a choice that a person makes
  • sexual orientation is determined by upbringing, (perhaps by parenting) not by genes
  • sexual orientation can be changed during adulthood
  • sexual behavior can be changed; homosexuals (for example) can decide to remain celibate, or seek sexual relationships with either males or females
  • one is either homosexual or straight

What say you?

I left my thoughts on the previous blog, but just to reiterate it, I'll repost the verses. This time from the NIV.

Romans 1:26-28
26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. 28Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done.

I recommend all read more than just these 3 verses. Study up. Read God's Word! Don't listen to someone here who claims to have talked to God. Spend time reading His Word and praying on your own. :)

From the Christian perspective, I gotta say you sound just a little nuts. You leave a cryptic message on my blog that had nothing to do with my subject and your blog is poorly written with horrible grammer.

You DO NOT speak for God. The Bible does (if you're a Christian), the Torah does ( if you're a Jew) and the Koran does ( if you're Muslim). What you are doing is what the Bible points to specifically as false teaching.

Since I was discussing MY SON, and I proclaim myself a Born Again Christian, my views on abortion should be evident. Please stay on topic when visiting other blogs. Don't clutter us up with your nonsense.
Thank you.

Though I don't know you and ended up at your blog through a random ping-ponging of other sites - I thought it interesting (your site, that is) enough that I want to leave a couple of my own (two cent) thoughts and questions.

Who are you? Your profile says your are 100+ years old. If so, you're a pretty hip old man - being that you blog and all.

You seem to dwell a bunch on what are typically considered "very controversial" issues. Why?

You said in your "Welcome..." first log that you are "His official mouthpiece." Would you say that you speak for God exclusively?

Do you believe that the Bible is completely true? How about the Koran? What is your religious affiliation(s)? And being that you sound, by your logs, to be a person who does not like to be "boxed in" to something titled or structured, if you choose to answer, it would help if you were specific in your replies.

I think that people hold to belief's based on many different factors. Fear. Convictions. Desires. Experiences. A combintation.

I once heard a professor and mentor describe people as being in a perpetual bounce between pleasure and pain. The closer you get to pain, the more you want to run towards pleasure. And the closer you get to pleasure, the more the desire to risk and want to experience things that may cause pain. Better summarized at the "adventure bug" that we all have.

You are obviously on some sort of adventure and hold to beliefs based on some combination of ingredients. The thing that makes me unsure of your "status" as these great titles of messenger and representative is, well...

Nevermind. Being that you're 100+ years old explains it all. You're either really his messenger because you're probably one of the oldest, and therefore, highest ranked humans left - or you think you are.

On a side note, what happens during these "divine sessions."

All I know as a human is that our deepest integrity is more important than beliefs and ideas - since our words are open to interpretations. So, well...your words won't mean a thing to me when I find out that you are not 100+ years old.

(Oh, and, sire, by this, I don't mean to seem that I am not a liar. I am a liar, and therefore, I don't by any means, presume to create forums of discussion where I am put that the pinnacle of understanding and communication with the divine. As a liar, a sinner (using this words in a Christian context, being that I am a follower of Jesus') the only conveying that I do is of things I hold to be divine, not changing a word to favor my opinions or thoughts.

And though I do have thoughts, I don't presume that they are in any way more true and what I believe. Even those things I believe, I presume could be not the true colors that my limited vision of my heart can see. Unless I know that my "sight" is perfectly comprehensive of all colors, I will dare not say that my opinion toward my beliefs are true - only that I deeply believe them.

You, on the other hand have lifted up your own placement as a conduit of divine information. Which is your right of expression as a living person. It just loses all weight to me when in small things, you lie, like your age. It tumbles you down to the same ground floor I am on and more comfortable discussing anything with anyone on... you, me, humans, can be wrong. most likely are).

By the way, sir - a couple blogs back a commenter commented that you are not a messiah if you die for, as you would put it "good cause" but a martyr. Being that many have died for "good causes" in all religions, how many messiahs could there be, if you hold to your definition of one?

If there have been so many martyrs, why is this world so far from having been "saved?"

Isn't the job of a savior, as your definition put it, to save? Messiah?...

If you are a Christian and believe the Bible is true - than there is and has been one savior, Jesus, and you are, therefore, a false prophet.

If you are a Jew and believe in the Torah and Scriptures and teachings of the Talmud, then you are the Christ, or you're not... this is not something you can aim to become as you state > logically proving you are not the "one."

If a Muslim, you know there is no concept of salvation by Messiah so, therefore, you are not the non-existent one anyways.

Hinduism also has no future Messiah in it's convictions.

And that leads to Buddhism. You must be a Buddhist because here, you can become a "Messiah" of sorts, for yourself. Your nirvana state, being that you do reach it, enlightens and ties you in with the state of nature that is all around and constant, an "understanding" that is found in silence and peace.

So Messiah to yourself? Is that what you mean when you say you want to be a Messiah one day? If so, that takes a huge load of my back knowing that the "One" (being the savior of the world, of yourself) is NOT perusing around the world wide web blogging people try to get them to visit your blogspot with insight - but not true insight, because as the "official" messenger, etc. etc., only you really know that.

Save yourself? Please do so... Or come with more logical and sensible answers and reactions to your commenter's comments.

I read somewhere that thar Jebus feller was as queer as a 3 dollar bill.

Look at the facts:

1. He looked like a hippy.
2. He hung out with 13 men.

Case closed.

Freaking faggot if ever there was one.

Funny to watch all those patchouli scented morons worshipping the gay feet he walked upon.

AM I right, people?!

Eat more meat! We must defeat the vegans and retarded vegetarians.

"How do you know God never speak to me, you have access to God directly?"

I thought I had answered this, and maybe I did and you deleted it. Anyway, I have a simple answer for that! What you claim God tells you goes strictly against His Word. He would not have His Bible here for us and then tell you to tell everyone that He changed His mind. I would say you are the one that needs to be careful. You might want to take time to read His Word someday.

The old testament of the bible read by the above poster was compiled by Jews a few thousand years ago, centuries after Moses. It was drawn from many sources, oral and written, and had many authors. It was written in Biblical Hebrew without any vowels. Then, centuries later, rabbis agreed upon set vowel markers but never claimed total authority in this regard. This was then translated into English under King James. That's a fairly convoluted path for a holy text to take. As I understand it, the New Testament was compiled by John, and he did a fair amount of picking-and-chosing in editing. If God wanted us to follow the exact letter of the Law, would God force us to trust the accuracy of such a long process of human transmission. God gave us brains, and while prophecy may very well be real, it's ridiculous to claim every letter of a book is God's word.

Are people born gay - and forgive me BlogOwner if I happened to click the wrong link (ha ha ha).

From a few gay relatives I have - they claim to always have been gay, always wanted to be gay, therefore they were BORN GAY.

My uncle B - whose my real uncle's lover, but I call him uncle B cause well it's not like I'm going to call him "uncle's lover", "uncles' partner" he's my uncle - plain and simple. I asked him once, "Do you think you were born gay?"

He replied,"Listen Fortune you geek programmer. I was married for many years to a wonderful woman. I had two beautiful children. I have a great job. I make the best damn backyard BBQ. But on the sly, I would go in drag. On the sly, I like the heels and wanted to be girlie. Look at me! I'm like Richard Dyfus! But deep down honey, I was a chickie at birth!"

There you go. I personally think, yes, if there is a God, all his children are his children regardless of age, sex, religion, blah blah blah. I personally think, if there is a God of some kind no matter where he (or SHE) comes from, yea just can't oust someone for "personal preference".

Plus, my uncle does look better then me in heels. And if God wanted to he should of gave me legs for it not him. But alas. I'm one of his children and he loves me anyways.

At least - that's how I view it.

dear divinetalk writer:

You are a pathetic excuse for a scholar. Stop blogging. You have no idea what you are talking about, nor do you have an opinion of your own. It seems that your stance is that you are some sort of opinion-collector. Please note that religion, God, and spirituality has never, nor ever will be a matter of opinion. The will of God as revealed in Torah, Gospel, and Qu'ran is as much fact as is the sky being mostly blue. Which is why when you ask questions such as 'Are all people God's children?" the only asnswer I can given you is the biblical answer. The understanding of scripture is still either right or wrong and is subject to proper debate. Read your Bible, or whatever else it is that you actually believe, then come back and start blogging about the divine.
